BALL BEARING POTENTIOMETERS feature single turn Kohlrausch windings and are designed for low torque, high function angle applications. This combination of small diameter cylindrical winding and extended function angle results in exceptional high winding resolution for finer settings and better linearity.

Housing is completely enclosed and can be used as single or multiple ganged units. Any practical number of potentiometer sections can be ganged on a single shaft by one piece stainless steel clamp rings. This arrangement permits precise phasing of each unit without disassembly, and independently of other units.

Cases are fungus resistant Bakelite, precision machined to accurate mating tolerances. End plates and servo mounting plates are machined of aluminum, and Aluminit finished. Corrosion resistant, instrument precision ball bearings are standard although self-lubricating, sintered and sleeve bearings are also available as KS-200 and KS-175

Precious metal contacts are used exclusively Paliney or gold brush materials are matched with the particular wire used in each winding to insure maximum life. Other current carrying parts are gold plated. All tap connections are welded to a single turn of wire for permanent trouble-free contact.
