Spring Return to Center Potentiometers with Two Tiers

Model L-400 potentiometers are designed to meet JAN-R-19 specifications for RA-30, and incorporate many of the features of more specialized high precision types for military use.

They are completely enclosed in fungus resistant molded Melamine, capped with metal end plates for protection against operational hazards or accidental damage. Interlocking seats in the molded housings permit easy stacking of multiple units for compact multi-control functions. All potentiometer elements are rigidly locked in accurate alignment by means of threaded tie rods.

Single shaft actuation for multiple sections provides uniform and smooth control for any number of ganged sections. Sturdy molded Nylon contact carrying rotors are secured to the shaft at each section. Stop is designed to withstand a sustained torque of 30 inche-pounds without misalignment, slipping or other damage.

The L-140 Loop Control serves as a remote rotation control from a neutral position to CW and CCW positions in aircraft radio compass loop control antennas. The patented positive spring return wafer switch arrangement is available in numerous switch sector and terminal layouts. A metal guard, to protect the wafer against accidental damage, is also available.

Paliney and precious metal contacts, silver end clips, screw fastened removable terminals, on-off switches and other features are available.
